One of the most under-appreciated but the most necessary part of your daily regimen. When the diet and exercise has been written down properly, to complete the entire regimen, a good night’s rest is just as important.
When resting, that is when the body “repairs” itself. When you are exercising, you are actually “damaging” tissue and muscle.
Ask every fitness buff out there and they will tell you that resting is just as important as working out.
How long? At least 8 hours/day not collectively like across the day, but at night. Do at least 8 hours. You’ll thank me later.
