I don’t want to say that I am a food expert. I am, however, a consumer and that my opinions should match with a big percentage of normal Filipino consumers. I was also a restaurateur, so I also understand how to run a business and have a fair grasp of what customers want and should want.
When I decided to put this blog up again, I wanted to only write about things that interest me. Whatever. Whenever. I don’t want to be tied down to a regular schedule and eventually affect the quality and integrity of my content. That is why I am also including this kind of post to explain to you that my goal is not to destroy or defame, but to inform. I will, however, post a follow up weeks or months after the initial post to give the establishment the opportunity to redeem themselves. I think that’s fair, right?
Now, when I post a review, I will say everything that I personally noticed. I will not be swayed by what others say or if I have any companions, what they say. If I don’t spot it myself, then it does not go into the blog.
The content will definitely vary. If the food I am reviewing comes from a stall, then it’s just the food. If it’s from an establishment, then it will be the entire experience from ordering, the atmosphere, to paying after. Basically the whole shebang. I will be 100% fair in my review. Just because a restaurant is sh*tty will not totally disqualify them if the food is good. If it’s good, it’s good. Can’t ding them on that.
